About:
For over 360 years of age, cheng hoon teng temple is the oldest chinese buddhism temple in Malaysia. It served as the main place of worship for the local Hokkien community.
Centuries of aging process has caused much damage to the temple. Blessfully, it has been restored to the best there is. Cheng Hoon Teng temple was even awarded a UNESCO award for outstanding architectural restoration.
